Angel Locsin, awarded as 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards’ TV Actress of the year (Primetime Drama) for The General’s Daughter!
With numerous acting awards under her belt that includes an international Emmy nomination and 57th Asia Pacific Film Festival Best Supporting Actress award, viewers already know that Angel Locsin will never disappoint. True to being one of the most awarded actress in the biz, Angel Locsin continuously bags recognition for her role Rhian Bonifacio in The General’s Daughter.
The actress has garnered 12 Best Actress award for her portrayal as Rhian Bonifacio and just recently, she wins anew and was hailed as TV Actress of the year for Primetime Drama at the 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards!
The Box Office Entertainment Awards or the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box Office Entertainment Awards which is now on its 51st year is an award-giving body that honors stars and performers for their popularity and commercial success in the Philippine entertainment industry.
It is safe to say that Angel Locsin is a certified Multi-Awarded Primetime Queen! As of this writing, she already bagged thirteen best actress awards for her magnificent performance as Rhian Bonifacio! It is without a doubt that she is one of the best if not the best actress in the industry.
It was indeed a mission accomplished for The General’s Daughter! Apart from Angel Locsin’s TV Actress of the Year Award, the show was hailed as Best Acting Ensemble in a Drama Series and Mr. Tirso Cruz III emerged as the TV Supporting Actor of the Year for his role as Santiago Guerrero! Awarding ceremony was supposed to take place last March but because of the pandemic, the event has been pushed back and was held just recently in a “new normal” setting.
Angel Locsin expressed her gratitude for the recognition and on her acceptance speech, the actress did not forget to thank the people behind Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
