"Kitakits mga Kapamilya sa Channel 11!": Angel Locsin and other Kapamilya stars celebrate the return of ABS-CBN on free TV!

It's been 5 months since ABS-CBN went off the air because of NTC's cease and desist order and after so many hearings, they were denied of a new franchise last July and since then, Kapamilya network have been finding ways to reach their audience. They have had some improvements on their digital platform Iwant TFC, utilizing digital platforms and social media, and introduced Kapamilya channel on satellite cable.

Even though ABS-CBN found a way to get by, the shut down took a toll on their income that resulted to retrenchment of more than 70% of its employees and even their stars are now accepting projects from another channel. It sure has been tough for everyone but they still remain hopeful that this is not the end true enough, they just recently announced that they will be back on free TV!

Just recently, ABS-CBN announced their agreement with Zoe Broadcasting Network INC and soon, ABS-CBN will be back on analog TV through A2Z Channel 11! On their Instagram account, Kapamilya stars express their excitement to this comeback.

Angel Locsin wrote "Kitakits mga Kapamilya sa Channel 11"

Asia's song bird Ms. Regine Velasquez also shared the good news and wrote "You will see us on free TV again. God is so good"

Mr. Gary Valenciano also shared his thoughts on ABS-CBN's return on Free TV and wrote "Even the heaviest of seasons don’t last forever, and the darkest of days always end up with the rising of a new dawn. Like we have always said...we will continue to be at our very best to serve you. Here we go!!!!! "

There's always a light at the end of the tunnel and this for sure is just the start of the good things that's yet to come for ABS-CBN!
