Watch out for your favorite Solid Kapamilya stars at ABS-CBN Christmas Special happening this Sunday!

It's been 7 months since ABS-CBN went off the air because of NTC's cease and desist order and after so many hearings, they were denied of a new franchise last July and since then, Kapamilya network have been finding ways to reach their audience.

They have had some improvements on their digital platform Iwant TFC, utilizing digital platforms and social media, and introduced Kapamilya channel on satellite cable. Even though ABS-CBN found a way to get by, the shut down took a toll on their income that resulted to retrenchment of more than 70% of its employees, even their stars are now accepting projects from another channel.

Despite a few setbacks, ABS-CBN thrive to give Kapamilya audience the content they deserve by utilizing digital platforms. They first introduced Kapamilya channel on satellite cable, they also stream their shows online and slowly expand their reach and now has partnered with A2Z channel which is now available on TV Plus.

Even though they were denied of the franchise, they still deliver service for the Filipino people and as part of their yearly treat to Kapamilyas all over the world, we can look forward to ABS-CBN Cristmas Special that will be happening this sunday!

ABS-CBN Christmas Special is a yearly celebration and a free concert headlined by Kapamilya stars held at Araneta Coliseum attended by various fan groups. As we all know, this year’s celebration will be a bit different because of the pandemic. This year, you can watch Christmas Special from home through ABS-CBN’s online platforms, satellite cable channel, and A2Z channel!
