An award-winning actress and a true humanitarian, Angel Locsin is one of the most prominent philanthropic actresses of today. Her name always lands on the headlines of news portals and micro-blogging sites whenever we are facing a disaster, man-made or natural, because of her humanitarian efforts done in big scale.

As we all know, Angel Locsin would rather not draw attention for herself, the same reason why she rarely talks about her relief efforts on some of her interviews and will do everything to sway the topic when she’s being asked about it. Rambo who revealed that he’s been friends with Angel for almost 15 years shared “Friends kami ni Angel probably mga 15 years na siguro; ‘yung mga time na mga Ondoy, Yolanda. Naalala ko gusto nyang sumama sa akin kasi gusto nya under the radar lang”

Staying under the radar is quite impossible for someone like Angel Locsin who is literally a household name. No matter how hard she try to keep her relief efforts as low-key as possible, media outlets easily pick-up the news through social media posts from those who’ve seen the actress in action that go viral in an instant.

Despite the fact that she’s been so consistent in helping others, some people always have something bad to say but these people can’t stop her to do what she can to help those who are in need.
