Angel Locsin gives aid for victims of #OdettePH

It’s almost Christmas and sadly, some of our kababayans has just lost their home and are now still staying at evacuation centers because of the devastation caused by typhoon Odette. After its landfall, many people have been stranded, some places were flooded, and most of those who got affected are now in need of assistance.

Angel Locsin who has been known and recognized locally and internationally for her humanitarian efforts did not let a day pass to do what she does best, lending a helping hand.

On a tweet shared by ABS-CBN news, the actress was photographed arriving at the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan headquarters in Katipunan, QC to give aid for victims of #OdettePH.

Over the past years, Angel Locsin has been an example and inspiration to everyone and it is a no surprise that she’s one of the first ones to make a move during these times. She has launched a number of fund raisers that raised millions of pesos that’s been used to aid various causes and relief operations that helped hundreds or even thousands of people. Her compassion to others and unwavering desire to help others is what made her one of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy.

Typhoon Odette has damaged a lot of properties and has sadly taken some lives as well. People who have survived the calamity are in dire need of help and we need more like Angel Locsin who acts fast and doesn’t hesitate to extend a helping hand especially when people need it the most.
