Just recently, Yahoo Philippines released a list of the Top 10 most searched female celebrities of 2021 which includes Kathryn Bernardo, Sarah Geronimo, and Angel Locsin among others.
Kathryn Bernardo made a buzz this year as they announced her teleserye comeback with her on and off screen partner Daniel Padilla which will be released next year!
People also searched for Sarah Geronimo after her hiatus for a year. In March, Sarah had her first digital concert called Tala: the Film concert which trended worldwide and has become the country’s top-selling digital concert of all time. She had an eventful year which made her fans really excited!
Angel Locsin also had an eventful year which earned her a spot to the list. One of the most talked about topics about the actress this year was her community pantry which didn’t end up as well as everyone expected. But though it has been such a let down, people also searched about her wedding which happened July of this year. Without telling anyone, Angel and Neil got married in the simplest way possible and made the announcement weeks after the said wedding day.
2021 has been a year of hope but also uncertainties. With everything that we have experienced in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic, 2021 becomes a transition year between quarantine and adjusting to the new normal.
