Maranao Malongs

Colorful Maranao malongs—along with other native crafts, delicacies, and cuisine—are on display at the ongoing trade fair, held at the gymnasium of the provincial capitol grounds of Lanao del Sur. The fair, which culminates on 21 July 2023, is part of the province’s month-long celebration of its 64th founding anniversary, also dubbed “Pakaradiyaan o Sarimanok” (Festival of Sarimanok).
