GENERAL SANTOS CITY (MindaNews / 12 December) – The Robinsons-owned Grand Summit Hotel here has rolled out its festive holiday offering, with portions of the proceeds going to charity.

Jesse Raymond Chua, Grand Summit Hotel General Santos general manager, said its holiday offering themed “A Brighter Christmas Together” is dedicated “to making holiday celebrations more meaningful for its guests by supporting causes that foster shared experiences and aid communities in need.”

“We are offering special holiday room rates for family bonding and leisure escapes. The most significant feature of this campaign is our commitment to giving back by donating a portion of the revenue from every room booking throughout the holiday season to our partner advocacy,” he said in a statement.

The upscale hotel’s beneficiary for this holiday season is the St. Vincent’s Strambi Home for the Aged, which provides shelter and care for elderly people here.

Chua said the hotel also offers a variety of event space options, including its Ballroom for reunions and celebrations.

“Our welcoming venues simplify the process of holiday hosting for loved ones, friends, and colleagues — allowing everyone to focus on the joy of connection,” Chua added.

He said the hotel also provides “perfect gifts with a delectable variety of Christmas goodies and holiday hampers filled with premium treats and Christmas delights—ideal for sharing and savoring the season with family and friends.”

Throughout December, Chua said the operating hours of their signature restaurant, Café Summit, has been extended until 11 p.m., with extraordinary buffet spreads slated on December 24, 25 and 31.

Grand Summit Hotel also accommodates private dining room bookings for groups of up to 20 people.

Grand Summit Hotel General Santos, recently named “Philippines’ Leading City Hotel” at the prestigious World Travel Awards Asia 2025, is the first upscale hotel of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), which is part of the Gokongwei conglomerate. (Bong S. Sarmiento / MindaNews)
