Wake for Jalosjos

The remains of former Zamboanga del Norte 1st District Rep. Romeo Jalosjos Sr. lie in state in one of his residences inside the family-owned Glorious Fantasyland Complex in Dapitan City on Saturday, 8 August 2026. Jalosjos, 85, was sentenced to life imprisonment for rape in 1997. But in April 2007, then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo commuted his sentence to 12 years, and he was released in March 2009.
