Angel Locsin and fellow members of AKTOR PH initiate relief operation to aid victims Typhoon Ulysses!

“Aktors giving back,” actress philanthropist Angel Locsin said on her Instagram yesterday, Nov. 13 announcing the League of Filipino Actors’ (AKTOR PH) call for donations specifically food, sanitary items, face masks, vitamins, clothes, towels, and blankets to the Filipinos affected by Typhoon Ulysses.

“Karamay ninyo po kami, sa anumang oras. Sa suporta’t pagmamahal na ibinigay ninyo po sa amin, hindi po namin kayo pababayaan 🙏🏻,” she added reassuring the public.

The actress also thanked the institutions and rescue teams who helped them safely carry out their relief operation and wished them safety, “Maraming salamat po sa ating local & national government agencies for doing their part and working hanggang gabi, and to the rescue teams deployed who are braving the flood waters full of debris, Thank you Red Cross Volunteers and staff, Salamat sa news team for updating us sa nangyayari, Magiingat po kayo. Nawa’y lahat po ay ligtas ng nakalikas🙏🏻 #Ulysses.”

On the same day, Angel and her fellow members of the actors' group, delivered the relief goods in Marikina, as evident on the photos and videos posted on her official Facebook page. Her fiancé Neil Arce, Dingdong Dantes, Jasmin Curtis-Smith, Sunshine Dizon, Kim Molina, Agot Isidro, Paolo Paraiso are some of the co-aktorph volunteers who were also spotted packing up and handing out relief goods to devastated victims of the typhoon.

Donations are received at Taumbayan, 40 T. Gener cor. K1st, Bgy. Sacred Heart, Kamuning, Quezon City in partnership with Catholics' Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Caritas PH, Andrew's Fund PH, and YesPinoy Foundation.
