“I personally don’t see myself being a politician” – Angel Locsin

Public service and public office go hand and hand but it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be a public official to serve the public, you can help other people without holding a position in the public office just like what Angel Locsin has been doing all these years.

Angel Locsin has always been one of the most prominent personalities when it comes to doing humanitarian efforts. Her relief operations in various parts of the country whenever we are hit by calamities never fail to land on the headlines no matter how hard she tries to keep it on the down low.

Because of the reputation she has established for herself, people root for her to run for office, some even were offering their services to campaign for her for free especially now that the 2022 elections is fast approaching but as what Angel has been saying on some of her interviews, she doesn’t have any plans to run for office.

On her recent interview, the actress once again reiterated that politics is not for her and doesn’t see herself as a politician “I personally don’t see myself being a politician. We all have strengths, and this isn’t one of mine. I don’t know how to create laws and policies. I’m used to taking action, but of a different kind.”

Given that she is one of the most followed personalities on social media and is undoubtedly one of the most loved, she would definitely gain supporters and people’s votes if ever she decides to run but as what Angel proves over and over again, you don’t need to be a politician to help others. Her innate compassion and benevolence are more than enough to serve others and help those who are in need.
