People start arriving near the junction of San Pedro St. and C. M. Recto Ave. in Davao City early morning Monday (13 January 2024), a few hours before the start of the ‘National Rally for Peace’ organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo in support of Vice President Sara Duterte, who is facing three impeachment complaints at the House of Representatives for alleged culpable violation of the Constitution, betrayal of public trust, graft and corruption, bribery and other high crimes for the alleged misuse of confidential funds as Vice President and as Education Secretary.
